Curious about what it’s like to work with me?
My process is rooted in getting to know my clients first and then transitioning into design. I pride myself on knowing my clients and their business on a deeper level which translates into an easier and more effective design process. How can I design something for someone that I barely know?
Step One: Branding Questionnaire + Mood Board
After our initial meeting, I will send my client a branding questionnaire and a mood board link. Both of these tasks have to be finalized before our official start date. This sets us up for our first official meeting. At our meeting, we will dive deeper into the Branding Questionnaire and the mood board. I will ask my clients questions about their business, key audience, problems they have, etc. This is where we truly want to get at the heart of you and your business. This also gives you a chance to know me as well so we can form a relationship from the start.
Step Two: Brand Strategy
Brand Strategy. It truly sets us up for success. Here are a few things that will be included in my Brand Strategy presentations:
It is a ton of information to sort through, but man oh man is it important in order to get the full benefits of Branding.
Step Three: Brand Concepts
This is the stage where everything starts to come together. I will put together two directions that include a logo suite, typography, and color. Although they are two different directions, they are similar since we have one clear goal in mind once we reach this step.
Step Four: Collateral Items
Once we have decided on a direction, I will start putting together your collateral items. These items include business cards, envelopes, stationery, or other items you may have added to your package. At this stage, we will also discuss paper choices and print options.
Step Five: Website Design (if applicable)
If I am creating a website for you, I require your website copy to be completed before we get to this step. Even though I will help you sort through website strategy and different phrasing, I always encourage my clients to work with someone who writes copy professionally. During the website design process, I will first create the homepage for you and we will discuss changes and the overall feel that your website will have. After this, I will complete the design for your website and talk about final revisions.
For my packages, I also include website assistance and will help you get your domain set up for you. I also teach all of my clients how to use the website host so they feel confident navigating their website and making updates later on.
Step Six: Launch
The most exciting part! Launching your new Branding is always so rewarding and I love being a part of it. I create launch graphics for my clients and help them come up with the best strategy for launching their Branding.
